Three gorgeous manor houses

Vihula manor – fully renovated elegant manor from the 16th century – 10 km; Palmse manor – thoroughly renovated manor house and picturesque park area from the 16th century – 7 km; Sagadi manor – it is said to be the most manorlike manor in Estonia, nicely renovated house from the 18th century – 5 km.


Altja fishing village and tavern

The 3km long seaside study trail introduces the fishing village and the surrounding nature from the shingle beach to the Altja river floodplain. See the detailed map and print it for the road.
Altja tavern with its old thatched roof and authentic old interior design is a great place to refresh yourself while you’re in the area. The tavern offers simple, tasty Estonian food.


Käsmu captains’ village and Maritime museum

The Käsmu nature and culture trail introduces the history of the smallest peninsula in Lahemaa National Park, the largest boulder field in Estonia and the rich cultural heritage of the Käsmu village. See the detailed map and print for the road.

Oandu forest nature trail

Oandu old growth forest nature trail is about 5km from Allika resthouse. It introduces old coastal ridges, the different developmental stages of forest, traces of wild animal activities. The 4,7 km trail takes about 2hrs and begins at Oandu. In moister areas, boardwalk facilitates hiking and protects the fragile layer of vegetation.See more detailed map and print for the road.


Beaver trail

Beaver trail is located on the way between Sagadi and Altja. It is about 5km from Allika resthouse. The rail is about 1km long.
